West Yorkshire Fire Service Visit Year 5

Year 5 were lucky enough to have a visit from the West Yorkshire Fire Service this morning to talk about fire safety and also other services the fire service offer. We watched a shocking video that showed how quickly a fire can spread in the house and discussed how important it is to have a fire safety plan in place at home with your family. This was everyone’s homework! We also looked at why it is dangerous and so important to never hoax call the fire brigade and why a seatbelt is so important when travelling in a car!
