This year our School Council are embarking on a project that will endeavour to identify if the voice of the child can bring about change. These changes will contribute to school improvement but also community cohesion. The children will be trained by myself as researchers to become active researchers in their own right. The purpose of our School Council project is therefore to establish whether or not the pupil voice can be effective in empowering change to create a safer environment / improve quality of life within a primary school setting and the wider community.
